Media Accreditation Opens for 2012 Warrior Games presented by Deloitte

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The U.S. Olympic Committee announced today that registration for the 2012 Warrior Games presented by Deloitte is now open. The third annual event will take place April 30-May 5 at U.S. Olympic Training Center and U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) grounds in Colorado Springs, Colo.
 
More than 200 wounded, ill, and injured servicemen and women and veterans are expected to compete in seven sports (archery, cycling, shooting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track & field and wheelchair basketball) in 2012.

Non-military media outlets will be required to meet with an USAFA escort to gain access to the campus. The meeting point is off of the 156B exit of I-25 in the parking lot just north of the USAFA entrance gate.
