COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The United States Olympic Committee's 12 for '12 media teleconference series continued on Tuesday, June 12, and featured two Olympians preparing for London - archer Brady Ellison (Glendale, Ariz.) and gymnast Jonathan Horton (Houston, Texas).

Ellison, the world's top-ranked men's recurve archer, will take the London stage for his second Olympic Games after winning the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Archery on June 3. After capturing individual and team gold medals at both the London test event and the 2011 Pan American Games last fall, Ellison recently led the men's recurve team to the gold medal at the 2012 World Archery Indoor Championships. As the first archer to win three consecutive world cup titles, Ellison is on target to reach the podium in London.

Horton brings a veteran presence to the U.S. men's gymnastics squad, and looks to qualify for his second Olympic Games at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials for Gymnastics starting June 28. Horton, the 2008 Olympic silver medalist on horizontal bar, helped Team USA to the bronze medal at the 2011 World Championships and earned back-to-back all-around national titles in 2009 and 2010. After a successful recovery from a foot injury, Horton is poised to earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team and lead Team USA to a medal in London.

The 12 for '12 media teleconference series provides media with an opportunity to interact with top Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls at critical moments in their journey to represent Team USA in London. The teleconferences run monthly through July 12, 2012, and will take place on or around the 12th of each month.
